Clippers' Kaman to replace injured Roy in All-Star Game

was named the replacement for injured Portland Trail Blazers guard Brandon Roy
Monday for the NBA All-Star Game to be held February 14 in Dallas.
Kaman, a seventh-year pro, is in the midst of his best NBA season averaging a
career-high 20.2 points and 9.0 rebounds, while shooting 49.7 percent from the
field through 44 games. The oft-injured 7-footer will be making his first All-
Star appearance.
It was announced Saturday that Roy would be held out until after the break to
help heal a strained right hamstring.
